1. Registering a Domain Name
Sensible IT Solutions can register a domain name, if it is available. We register the domain in your name using our registrar tag.
The price for a .co.uk, .org.uk and .uk is £24.19 + VAT for 2 years per domain name.
The price for a .com and .eu is £24.19 + VAT for 1 year per domain name.
The price for a .net and .org is £26.39 + VAT for 1 year per domain name.
2. Domain Renewal
You domain name registration lasts for 2 years. 30 days before your domain name is due to expire we will send you a renewal reminder email. At this point we ask that you contact us within 14 days of receiving your email to inform us whether you require the domain name to be renewed or whether you wish to cancel.
The cost of renewal for a .co.uk, .org.uk and .uk is £24.19 + VAT for 2 years per domain name.
The cost of renewal for a .com and .eu is £24.19 + VAT for 1 year per domain name.
The cost of renewal for a .net and .org is £26.39 + VAT for 1 year per domain name.
If you fail to contact us within 28 days your domain may be suspended, you will not be charged if the domain name is suspended. You have 90 days after the expiry date to retain a domain name, after this your domain name will be cancelled.
3. Transfering a Domain Name
If you need a domain transfered to us you will need to give your current registrar our tag. Once this is complete we will be able to control your domain. We do not charge for this. However, when the domain name is due for renewal we will send you a renewal reminder email.
The cost of renewal for a .co.uk, .org.uk and .uk is £24.19 + VAT for 2 years per domain name.
The cost of renewal for a .com and .eu is £24.19 + VAT for 1 year per domain name.
The cost of renewal for a .net and .org is £26.39 + VAT for 1 year per domain name.
If you would like us to transfer your domain to another registrar please email us on support@sitscloud.co.uk or send a letter to Sensible IT Solutions, Unit A, Moorhouse Courtyard, Warwick-on-Eden, Carlisle, Cumbria CA4 8PA containing the details of your request. We do not charge for this.
4. Cancelling a Domain Name
If you would like us to cancel your domain name as it is no longer in use please email us on support@sitscloud.co.uk or send a letter to Sensible IT Solutions, Unit A, Moorhouse Courtyard, Warwick-on-Eden, Carlisle, Cumbria CA4 8PA containing the details of your request. The domain will still be registered under our tag untill the domain name is expired. We do not charge for this and there is no refund available for cancellations.
